A regulator for allied & healthcare professions
The Council exists to protect the public by making sure that everyone practising an allied or healthcare profession in Punjab is properly qualified, registered and held to a clear standard of conduct.
Established as a statutory body under the provisions of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAPH) Act, 2021, the Council maintains the state register of practitioners, sets standards for education and examination, recognises institutions and courses, and enforces a code of professional ethics across the paramedical and allied healthcare sector.
